09/14/23 - Teamsters Local 570 Sept. 14, 2023 | WORKERS' RIGHTS | The National Labor Relations Board filed a complaint against Amazon on Monday for having its employees sign a confidentiality agreement that the Board says restricts their rights to unionization. The complaint names Andy Jassy, Amazon’s CEO, as well as two Amazon Prime Air supervisors, as people who required employees to sign the agreement. |

09/14/23 - El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association On Wednesday, Sept. 13, the community was invited to meet and hear from the finalists for the El Paso Police Chief position. The four finalists are Steve Dye, Peter Pacillas, David Ransom and Victor Zarur. Steve Dye was the Police Chief for Grand Prairie, Texas from 2011 to 2020 where he was also the deputy city manager and is currently the city manager. |

09/13/23 - IATSE Local B4 The second year of the Boch Center Wang and Shubert theater contracts have gone into effect. You will notice ann increase in your hourly wage. The The base usher rate went from $15.75 to $16.22 per hour. Also to note, the boys structure we've had for the past two contracts of six years was negotiated and replaced with 4% vacation pay that is paid out at the end of each contract year. |
